Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp is seeking an Innovation Coordinator to lead and coordinate our Innovation initiatives, research, and digital transformation projects. You will collaborate with industry experts and internal teams to implement efficient and profitable construction solutions.

The role focuses on coordinating project teams, tracking schedules and KPIs, and exploring opportunities in IoT, AI, robotics, and BIM to advance our construction practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Civil Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in heavy civil construction methods and practices.
• Experience with BIM, MicroStation and SYNCHRO preferred.
• Experience with technology applications in construction and digital transformation preferred.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Innovation project teams and workshop activities to develop efficient construction methods and technology.
• Collaborates with leadership to track and report project schedules and KPIs.
• Researches innovation opportunities and supports data collection, modelling and testing workshops.
• Maintains internal database for Innovation research and program opportunities.
• Develops relationships with external vendors and university partners.
• Works with champion groups to develop tools, policies and implementation timelines.
