POSITION: Digital Construction & Innovation Manager

Project Management: Lead the delivery of digital construction projects, ensuring they meet project goals and company expectations. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. Innovation and Technology Integration: Identify and implement new digital tools and technologies, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), drones, AI, and IoT, etc. Ensure seamless integration of these technologies into existing construction processes. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve project delivery. Evaluate the effectiveness of new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Facilitate regular meetings and updates with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any issues. Act as the primary point of contact for all digital construction-related matters. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on new technologies and innovative practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization. Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams in the adoption and use of digital tools. Create documentation and resources to support the training and development initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital construction initiatives and make recommendations for improvement. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for digital construction. Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Bachelor’s degree or US equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
(4) years of experience on large civil infrastructure Design-Build projects valued at $250 million or more, with the following specific experience: Leading digital transformation initiatives and managing innovation programs on infrastructure projects, including highways, rail systems, or airport expansions. Implementing and managing digital construction tools and workflows using at least three (3) of the following software: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Procore, Power BI, or SharePoint, including BIM coordination, data visualization, and document control. Coordinating digital innovation across multidisciplinary teams including design engineers, construction managers, BIM modelers, subcontractors, and technology vendors to optimize field productivity and data integration. Designing and delivering internal training and knowledge sharing programs to improve digital tool adoption, including model navigation, drone data processing, and QA/QC verification using digital workflows. At least two (2) years of experience within the four (4) must include: Conducting digital constructability reviews and implementing issue-tracking systems to reduce rework and improve model-based coordination. Managing project innovation budgets and tracking digital tool ROI using MS Excel and Power BI dashboards. Developing and enforcing digital standards and procedures based on ISO 19650, NBIMS-US, or company-specific digital execution plans (BEPs) on complex transportation projects.
10% domestic travel for trainings and meetings with clients/client representatives in Austin, Texas.
