Job summary

Scanr Solutions is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead HSE efforts on construction sites in the United States. You will collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain effective relationships and promote safety across projects.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to conduct trainings and safety meetings for diverse teams. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree with 2+ years in HSE or related field; or STS-C with relevant experience.
• Alternative: 5 years of relevant experience and CHST certification.
• Ability to spend 80% of time on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, client reps, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain relationships.
• Support and promote the safety program and local incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
• Implement project-based safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
• Contribute to pre-task planning and job-site safety meetings.
• Coach and train junior team members on duties and processes.
• Prepare and deliver safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
• Contribute to development/review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and controls.
• Support investigations of incidents, near-misses, and claims and communicate findings.
• Maintain knowledge of HSE standards, programs and objectives.
• Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
• Provide input supporting audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
