Job summary

Cec Facilities Llc is seeking a Traveling Safety Manager to oversee safety on multiple project sites. The role requires conducting audits, investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across divisions. Frequent travel between job sites is essential.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Occupational Safety or Health and CSP/OSHA credentials, with 3–5 years in construction safety and 2+ years in supervision. Strong communication and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Occupational Safety or Health preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA 500/501 and competent person training a plus.
• 3–5 years in safety and health within construction industry.
• 2+ years as safety coordinator or supervisor.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% including overnights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites to conduct safety surveys, audits and investigations.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Ensure daily Velocity reports are submitted and reviewed for completeness.
• Follow up with site supervision to implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety guidance to project leadership and teams.
• Maintain records and documents to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance across sites.
• Support pre-construction safety activities and planning.
