Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Safety Specialist to design and manage construction safety programs from office-based roles in the US. The role emphasizes audits, training, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates will hold OSHA30 with 5+ years in construction safety, prefer CHST/STSC, and be bilingual in Spanish. A valid license and background check are required; competitive salary and full benefits are offered.

Competenze

• OSHA30 certification and minimum 5 years of experience in Construction safety.
• CHST/STSC preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• High School diploma required.
• Bilingual (SPANISH) required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a government background check.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and investigations and implement corrective actions; some site visits required.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to workplace safety and health.
• Provide training and education on safety protocols and procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into work processes.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; ensure reporting and corrective actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of safety programs and adjust as needed.
• Develop safety performance metrics and report to senior management.
• Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes in construction safety.
• Insurance claims and management; incident reporting to executives.
• Attend pre-work and preparatory meetings.
