Specialized Recruiting Group - York County / South Charlotte is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human resources in a fast-paced construction environment. This hands-on role is designed for an HR professional who will own the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through employee relations and compliance.

The ideal candidate has construction HR experience and can partner with leadership while supporting both office and field employees.

Qualifications

• Previous HR experience in construction industry.
• 5+ years progressive HR experience preferred.
• Experience as standalone HR professional or small HR dept preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Experience supporting both hourly field employees and salaried office staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day HR functions for the organization.
• Lead recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding.
• Administer benefits, workers' compensation, and leave programs.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
