Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Indianapolis is seeking an HR Human Resources Manager to oversee the full employment life cycle, including recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits across multiple business units.

This position is 100% on-site at the Indianapolis project site, partnering with BU leadership to deliver strategic HR guidance, manage CBAs, labor relations, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies while fostering a high-performing, diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of progressive HR experience and 3+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience supporting a unionized workforce or labor relations environment preferred (CBAs, grievance handling, or contract administration).
• Strong understanding of HR principles, compliance, and business operations in a construction context.

Responsibilities

• Manage full employment life cycle including recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits.
• Supervise one or more HR Generalists/Administrators across locations and provide performance feedback.
• Serve as primary HR liaison with unions and labor organizations; support collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration.
• Advise BU leadership on labor relations strategy and ensure policy compliance across CBAs and project locations.
