Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support northern offices and guide onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. The role will work with the HR Director and the HR team to enforce policy and handle investigations, with a focus on ensuring smooth HR operations across the company.

The position requires strong communication skills, Spanish-English bilingual ability, and experience in HR or recruiting within the construction sector.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of HR or recruiting experience required.
• 1+ years experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports onboarding processes for new hires, including coordination with Talent Acquisition Specialists and hiring managers.
• Manages annual and new hire benefit enrollment process.
• Oversees semi-annual performance evaluations for designated populations.
• Handles performance and disciplinary issues with documentation and action plans.
• Assists in policy development, employee relations investigations, and exit interviews.
• Develops written communications in English and Spanish for ads, paperwork, and policies.
• Acts as point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns.
• Contributes to compliance reporting and internal HR projects.
