Job summary

J2 Solutions, Inc. in Venice, Florida is seeking a Senior-Level Healthcare Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects autonomously from start to finish.

You will manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractors, ensure compliance with healthcare codes, and coordinate with architects and engineers to meet client expectations. Leadership and proactive problem-solving are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience in construction.
• Knowledge of full construction process and regulations.
• Experience with hospital/medical construction projects.
• Proficient in PM tools such as Procore and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction project lifecycle from planning to delivery.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage budget and financial performance of the project.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders with regular progress updates.
• Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and vendors.

Position Overview:

As a Senior-Level Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple construction projects simultaneously. This is a pivotal role, requiring a high level of expertise in project management, construction processes and the ability to work autonomously. You will be a key driver in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations. This position reports out of our Venice office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end construction project lifecycle, from initial planning to final delivery.
• Develop project plans and timelines, including setting project goals and objectives, determining project tasks and resource requirements, and coordinating with team members to ensure project completion is on-time and within budget.
• Manage the budget and financial performance of the project, including monitoring project costs, tracking expenses and identifying areas of potential cost savings.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to establish project expectations and provide regular updates on progress and any issues that arise.
• Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including building codes, safety standards and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project design and construction align with project goals and objectives.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during projects and ensure any changes to the projects are properly documented and approved.
• Ensure projects are completed to the satisfaction of the clients and projects are handed over in a timely and efficient manner
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field -OR- equivalent experience
• Proven track record of at least 8+ years in project management roles within the construction industry.
• In-depth understanding of the full construction process. Including a strong understanding of construction laws and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make decisive decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (i.e., Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.).
• Experience managing/overseeing construction projects in a hospital/medical setting
• AHCA experience is not required but strongly preferred.
