Job summary

Orion Talent in Orlando is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager and Assistant Construction Project Manager with healthcare project experience to lead complex projects in the Orlando market.

The ideal candidate will manage healthcare construction from preconstruction through completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and client relationships while mentoring project teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Healthcare construction experience is required.
  • Proven construction project management experience is required.
  • 5+ years of progressive construction/project management experience preferred.
  • Experience managing healthcare projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contracts, procurement, and change management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, forecasting, cost controls, and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership.
  • Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Identify and resolve schedule, cost, quality, and constructability issues.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Partner with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and contract compliance.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial expectations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
  • Oversee project closeout and client turnover.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager & Assistant Construction Project Manager, with high preference with some healthcare construction experience to lead complex projects in the Orlando Florica market. This position will oversee project execution, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, client relationships, subcontractor coordination, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
