Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Laborer Foreman to coordinate crews, prepare and supply materials, and ensure efficient work on a construction site.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, supervising laborers, interpreting specs, enforcing safety rules, and aligning work with schedules. Strong teamwork, union training, and a valid driver’s license are required to perform this role effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years related experience preferred.
• Must possess union specific training.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to operate tools and machinery listed in duties.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine work procedures.
• Supervise laborers and coordinate activities.
• Interpret specifications and job orders.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet construction schedules; analyze workloads and hours.
• Provide direction to laborer I, II, Journeyman, Apprentice, and Helpers.
• Lead by example, coach and manage performance.
