Job summary

General Foreman at MCL Construction in Omaha, NE leads craft employees in the field, coordinates daily work, and supports the Superintendent on safety, quality, and teamwork. Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in commercial construction.
• 2 years of carpentry experience.

What You Bring To The Arena

As a General Foreman, you’ll lead MCL craft employees in the field, coordinate daily work, support the Superintendent, and set the standard for safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Leads assigned Laborers and Carpenters on large or complex jobsites.
• Coordinates manpower, daily tasks, site needs, and other trades.
• Supports the Superintendent with short-term planning, scheduling, timesheets, and manpower forecasts.
• Maintains high standards for quality, safety, jobsite organization, tools, and equipment.
• Identifies problems early, finds solutions, and keeps work moving forward.
• Models professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and quality while developing the team.

The Skills Behind The Build

• Bring 5+ years of field experience, including 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Have experience supervising field operations in commercial construction.
• Bring strong knowledge of carpentry, construction methods, site operations, and safety.
• Can proficiently operate a telehandler and skid loader.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and can travel between jobsites.
