Job summary

MCL Construction is seeking a Program Delivery Lead in Omaha, NE to align teams and deliver the vision across preconstruction and design stages. You will drive budgets, schedules, and design decisions with architects, estimators, and owners to keep projects on track.

Role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and proactive risk management. Expect opportunities to advance to broader preconstruction leadership as the pipeline grows, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 5–10 years of PM or preconstruction experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling knowledge from project startup.
• Proficiency with project management tools/software.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and visit active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Keep preconstruction and design moving — aligned, on budget, on schedule from first sketch to final GMP.
• Own preconstruction schedules, budgets, and deliverables from day one.
• Engage architects, engineers, estimators, and consultants to align objectives.
• Track timelines and milestones, flag risks early.
• Coordinate design reviews across disciplines and support feasibility studies, VE, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate GMPs and lump-sum values with design-build/design-assist subs.
• Build strong client relationships through responsiveness and follow-through.

• Solid understanding of construction budgeting, scheduling, and process from the ground up.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) and visit active job sites as needed.
