Job summary

MCL Construction in Omaha, NE is seeking a General Foreman to lead craft employees in the field, coordinate daily work, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will supervise Laborers and Carpenters on large or complex jobsites and work with the Superintendent on planning and manpower forecasts.

Bring 5+ years of field experience, 2+ years of carpentry, and a strong knowledge of construction methods. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel between jobsites are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience on construction sites.
• 2+ years carpentry experience.
• Experience supervising field operations in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, construction methods, site operations, and safety.
• Ability to operate telehandler and skid loader.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Laborers and Carpenters on large or complex jobsites.
• Coordinate manpower, daily tasks, site needs, and other trades.
• Support the Superintendent with short-term planning, scheduling, timesheets, and manpower forecasts.

The Skills Behind the Build

• Can proficiently operate a telehandler and skid loader.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and can travel between jobsites.
