Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university offering accredited degree programs in Accounting/Finance with at least 1 year of coursework or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age to work on a construction project site
• Must be willing to work a standard work week
• Basic understanding of GAAP (e.g., journal entries, general ledger)
• Strong verbal and written communication in English

Responsibilities

• Engage with Intern Program, fulfill learning requirements and assigned responsibilities with supervisor guidance
• Learn and apply Turner financial accounting processes, including construction accounting principles
• Follow company policies related to financial reporting and data governance
• Develop communication, teamwork, and professional relationships
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and site visits
• Review billing details and contracts for accuracy and AR processes
• Assist with validating project cost coding and invoice expenses
• Support invoice processing and month-end reporting tasks
• Assist with budgets, journal entries, and cash flow monitoring
• Support with AI-enabled data analytics and process improvements
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for management
• Share progress updates with supervisor and seek feedback
• Other activities as assigned
