Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program in Accounting or Finance with at least 1 year of coursework.
• Must be 18+ to work at a construction project site.
• Must be willing to work a standard work week.
• Basic understanding of GAAP (e.g., journal entries, general ledger).
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills through leadership, campus involvement, or community activities.
• Demonstrate interest in finance supporting real-world construction projects and data/AI tech.
• Ability to take direction, listen, and follow tasks with deadlines.
• Highly organized with attention to detail for data entry.
• Clear and professional verbal/written English communication.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel; familiar with Teams/SharePoint.
• Understand AI tools and willingness to apply them to finance processes.
• Some travel may be required with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Intern Program and complete learning requirements.
• Learn Turner financial accounting processes, including project accounting and revenue recognition.
• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end close tasks.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and performance metrics.
• Gain exposure to AI-enabled tools and data analytics in finance.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and progress updates for supervisors.
