Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a skilled Business Controller for the Next Direct business to ensure timely BU financial reporting, asset safeguards, and strong internal controls. You will collaborate with department heads to maintain cohesion across overhead departments and the business’ financials, leveraging your expertise in CMiC and Excel to drive accurate forecasts and responsible capital management.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience in accounting/finance, with a preference for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience.
• Experience as a finance business partner in a supply chain environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate BU financial reports.
• Oversee internal controls and asset safeguards.
• Coordinate with department heads to align overhead and financials.
• Manage regional office administration and capital expenditures.
• Provide due diligence on financial risks and training needs.
