Gilbane in Philadelphia, PA seeks a highly experienced Business Controller to ensure timely, accurate BU financial reports and protect company assets while overseeing a single business unit. You will partner with department heads and market leaders to align overhead and financials.

The role requires 8–10 years of finance experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and CMiC. Salary ranges from $155,000 to $200,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in finance.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirms basic internal controls are in place and adequately maintained.
• Ensures all financial reporting/budgeting/forecasting are accurate.
• Certifies project forecasts per contract and proper reporting.
• Ensures capitalization policy adherence and proper approvals.
• Analyzes balance sheet accounts and initiates corrective actions.
