Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support accounting and finance tasks on a construction project. You will learn cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance while contributing to month-end close and the financial reporting package for project management.

Opportunities span across the United States; relocation anywhere in the country is required for the internship. You should be pursuing a related degree with strong Excel skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Look Ups is preferred.
• Effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project accounting and finance tasks on a live project.
• Assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance.
• Participate in month-end close activities and help prepare a financial reporting package.
• Collaborate with Operations and other teams to ensure accurate cost and revenue reporting.
• Learn and apply internal controls and procurement processes.
