Job summary

Portland Pump Company in Scarborough, ME is seeking an experienced Construction Accounting and Office Operations Lead to support daily financial and administrative operations from the Scarborough office.

The role focuses on accounts payable, vendor statements, invoices, POs, reconciliations, and general admin. Collaborate with Project Managers on labor allocation and job costing in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of administrative experience in a construction environment.
• Strong accounts payable knowledge and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with construction ERP software (Jonas or MAS 90 preferred).
• Ability to identify errors, resolve discrepancies, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts payable processing and vendor payments.
• Review invoices, requisitions, and approvals; reconcile vendor statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards; support job costing and labor allocation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to keep financials accurate.
