Job summary

Blanchard Caulking and Coating in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Construction Accountant and Office Manager to own day-to-day accounting and office operations for the business unit. You will manage month-end close, job costing, payables, receivables, cost reporting, and project documentation while supporting the operations team on-site.

This hands-on role combines financial accuracy with administrative leadership and vendor/customer compliance.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of hands-on accounting experience including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end close processes and project-based accounting.
• Construction accounting or ERP software experience (Sage Intacct, Foundation, Viewpoint, QuickBooks).
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, reconciliation).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own Blanchard’s month-end close and close checklist deadlines.
• Prepare and post recurring/adjusting entries; maintain GL.
• Perform bank/Credit Card reconciliations and resolve items.
• Manage WIP schedules, job costing, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee AP/AR, billing, collections, and vendor/customer communications.
• Oversee office operations and project documentation; support PMs.
