Construction Field Services Professional

Juneau Associates is seeking an experienced professional in Construction Field Services to perform construction observation services . We are looking for a motivated individual with the experience and skills to immediately contribute and handle a variety of projects.

Experience Level: 2+ years

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, with the possibility of additional hours

Location: Based in Granite City, Illinois

Job Responsibilities:

• Observe and document the construction of transportation-related projects, such as roadways, bridge structures and trails, water system projects, such as water main and plant upgrades, while representing the project owner
• Check that projects are built to plans and specifications
• Coordinate with office staff and contractors
• Conduct site/field visits as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in civil construction
• Construction Observation experience with one or more of the following entities is a plus: IDOT, local public agencies, utility companies
• Strong coordination and communication skills, along with ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and the public
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Willingness to work hard
