Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned Field Engineer/Manager to support daily field operations, coordinate field teams and trade partners, and promote safety and quality across projects. You will help document progress, manage materials, and integrate prefabrication into site execution while reporting to project leadership.

The role requires an Associate's degree in construction management or related field and at least five years of field engineering or construction management experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire required; First Aid and CPR certification required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the management and development of a team of field operations individuals, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under guidance.
• Supervises daily site activities and applies sound judgment in implementing quality control measures, resolving routine issues and supporting solutions to unique field challenges to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
• Manages coordination of delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitors accurate daily logs and progress reports to document project activities and issues.
• Communicates routine updates and concerns to project leadership, enabling timely resolution of challenges.
• Participates in or leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce a culture of accountability.
• Supports field teams, including self-perform, in addressing routine operational issues and escalates more complex matters as needed.
