Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned on-site leader to manage field operations, guide teams and drive safe, high‑quality project execution. You will align field activities with project goals, coordinate with project managers, self-perform teams, and trade partners to maintain momentum and integrity on complex builds.

You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, review daily reports and plans, and foster a collaborative environment that enhances client relationships and project

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of field individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
• Oversees all on‑site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and organizational standards.
• Manages coordination with project managers, self‑perform team, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources, resolve moderately complex issues, manage field related costs and change impacts, and maintain project momentum.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Reviews and approves daily field documentation, including progress reports, safety logs planning documentation (i.e. pre-task-plans), and incident records, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Reviews and communicates project status, risks, and opportunities to project leadership and relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns to support project success.
