Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced field operations leader to manage on-site teams and deliver high-quality construction results while enforcing safety and regulatory compliance. You will align field activities with project goals, coordinate with project managers, and integrate prefabrication strategies when appropriate to optimize outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in a related field, 7 years of field experience, and 1–2 years of managerial experience, plus OSHA

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; OSHA 30-Hour within 6 months of hire required; First Aid and CPR certification required; OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of field individuals to achieve exceptional performance and talent development.
• Oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and conformance with project specs and standards.
• Coordinates with project managers, self-perform team, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources, resolve issues, manage costs and change impacts.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Reviews and approves daily field documentation, including progress reports, safety logs, and planning documents (e.g., pre-task plans).
• Communicates project status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders to support success.
