Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a Field Expeditor to support field operations by coordinating materials, equipment, and documentation across project sites. The role emphasizes safety, proactive communication, and timely problem resolution in a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-starting, and capable of managing multiple priorities while aligning with site management and vendors. Prior construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to obtain required credentials.
• OSHA awareness and commitment to safety on site.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Good organizational and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite delivery of materials, tools, and supplies to project sites.
• Maintain communication between field personnel, project managers, and vendors.
• Track orders, deliveries, shortages, and back orders to minimize delays.
• Verify received materials match purchase orders and project requirements.
• Support field leadership with daily operations and problem resolution.
• Maintain records of deliveries, receipts, equipment usage, and site documentation.
• Monitor project progress and flag potential delays to management.
• Assist in coordinating travel of personnel and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Participate in meetings and planning discussions as needed.
• Support inventory control and material workflow across multiple sites.
