Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a Material Expeditor for the Baytown II, TX project. You will coordinate and expedite material flow, inspect deliveries for damages, and transfer materials on-site to align with production schedules while maintaining accurate inventory and locations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety leadership, and adherence to client safety policies in a fast-paced construction environment supporting Koch Engineered Solutions projects.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience with pipe, valves, and fittings in a gas plant construction environment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
• Able and willing to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines.
• Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job.
• Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials within the jobsite, according to production and shipping schedules
• Examine material delivered to jobsite for damages
• Arrange on site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain status and location of materials.
• Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site.
• Be a team player that makes customer focus and satisfaction a top priority in all business decision making.
• Being a safety role model for the team
• Enforcing OPD and client specific safety policies and procedures on the jobsite
