Job summary

ETC Companies, LLC in New York City seeks a seasoned Facade Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for curtain wall, windows, roofing tie-ins, waterproofing, air/vapor barriers, masonry and cladding on multifamily rehab and new construction projects across NYC.

The candidate should have 5+ years as a Construction Superintendent focusing on façade work, experience with multifamily rehabs, OSHA 30, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with a focus on Facade work.
• Experience overseeing Multifamily Construction rehabs and renovations.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Computer proficiency essential; Timberline and Raken a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail.
• Ability to lead onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of teams; strong construction mgmt software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for facade and building envelope scopes, including curtain wall, windows, roofing tie-ins, waterproofing, air/vapor barriers, masonry, and cladding systems.

• Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software.
• Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports.
• Facilitate toolbox talks as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

Large GC specializing in Affordable Multifamily Rehabs and Renovations, looking for a Facade Superintendent for new and current projects throughout NYC.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for facade and building envelope scopes, including curtain wall, windows, roofing tie-ins, waterproofing, air/vapor barriers, masonry, and cladding systems.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software
• Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports
• Facilitate “Tool Box Talks,” as necessary
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessary
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Other related projects, as assigned

Skills/Qualifications
