Job summary

Pyramid ETC Companies, LLC is seeking experienced Site Superintendents and Project Managers for a new multifamily rehab project in Chicago, IL and surrounding areas.

The roles require overseeing all phases of construction, coordinating crews, maintaining safety and quality, and communicating with inspectors, engineers, and owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience overseeing Multifamily construction rehabs and renovations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in field reporting and documentation.
• Familiarity with construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources and manage field personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily field reports and ensure report accuracy.
• Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Enforce safety standards and document discrepancies.
• Negotiate costs with contractors and uphold quality workmanship.
• Drive timely project delivery and adherence to plans.

Job description

Large GC specializing in Affordable Multifamily Rehabs and Renovations, looking for Site Superintendents and Project Managers for new project in Chicago, IL and surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software
• Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports
• Facilitate “Tool Box Talks,” as necessary
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessary
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Other related projects, as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience overseeing Multifamily Construction rehabs and renovations.
• OSHA 30
• Computer proficiency a MUST--experience with Timberline, Raken a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Ability to process requests quickly and efficientlyAbility to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline driven
