Job summary

ETC Companies, LLC in Chicago is seeking a Senior Site Superintendent to manage affordable multifamily rehabs and renovations from planning through project closeout. Lead field teams, coordinate with inspectors, architects, engineers, and clients; ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing daily reports and schedules.

Must have 8+ years’ experience in large occupied projects, OSHA 30, proficiency with Timberline and Raken, and willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience overseeing large-scale occupied multifamily rehabs and renovations.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Experience with Timberline and Raken is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (daily and short/long-term).
• Experience in construction management or related field.

Responsibilities

Large GC looking for a Senior Site Superintendent for Affordable Multifamily construction projects throughout Chicago, IL and surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software
• Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports
• Facilitate "Tool Box Talks," as necessary
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessary
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Other related projects, as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• OSHA 30
• 8+ years' experience overseeing Large-scale Occupied Multifamily Rehabs and Renovations
• Computer proficiency a MUST--experience with Timberline, Raken a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail
• Willingness to travel (daily, and for short/long-term travel assignments)
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
