Job summary

ETC Companies, LLC is seeking Site Superintendents and a Project Manager for a new multifamily rehab project in Detroit, MI and surrounding areas. Oversee project from planning to implementation, coordinate resources, and ensure safety and quality in line with plans.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multifamily construction supervision, OSHA 30, and proficiency with Timberline and Raken. Strong leadership, communication, and document control are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in multifamily rehab projects.
• Experience overseeing multifamily construction rehabs and renovations.
• OSHA 30 certification required; strong safety program experience.
• Proficient with construction software and field reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects and maintain field reports.
• Ensure site safety standards and document discrepancies.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors; interface with inspectors and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to ensure reasonable costs and schedule adherence.

Job description

Large GC specializing in Affordable Multifamily Rehabs and Renovations, looking for Site Superintendents and Project Manager for new project in Detroit, MI & surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software
• Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports
• Facilitate Tool Box Talks, as necessary
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessary
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Other related projects, as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience overseeing Multifamily Construction rehabs and renovations.
• OSHA 30
• Computer proficiency a MUST--experience with Timberline, Raken a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Ability to process requests quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership skills
