Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled estimator to manage estimating, bidding, and project coordination for diverse construction projects. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, develop competitive bids, and work with field operations to meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.

The role involves collaborating with owners, engineers, and suppliers, maintaining pricing databases, and supporting project execution from tender through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating and/or project management experience preferred.
• Experience in earthwork, utilities, heavy civil, site development and related projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and documents to develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors and overhead.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop competitive bid proposals and participate in bid reviews.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and safety compliance with field teams.
