Job summary

CRH is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator in Kuna, ID to lead estimating, bidding, planning, and financial performance on diverse projects. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, develop competitive bids, and work with field teams, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to complete projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction estimating and/or project management experience preferred.
• Experience in earthwork, utilities, heavy civil, site development, asphalt paving preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop competitive bid proposals and participate in bid reviews.
• Monitor project progress and support field operations.
