Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator to join our team in the United States. You will perform a variety of cost estimation tasks for construction projects, using Timberline to prepare OPCCs and support design‑build efforts.

You will collaborate with project managers, procurement, and field teams to gather data and ensure accurate cost reporting. The role involves developing purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders, plus maintaining project documentation and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline; 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and researching costs.
• Utilize Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) and design-build projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement for pricing and bids.
• Prepare baseline schedules and assist with change management and RFIs.
• Support project controls with cost data, reports, and budgets.
