Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an experienced estimator to join our construction team. The role involves basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, quantity take-offs, cost research, and preparing OPCCs for design-build projects, with collaboration across project managers and procurement.

You will support field teams, manage RFIs, develop work packages, and participate in pre-bid activities, bid day tabulations, and schedule and cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Prepares OPCCs for design-build projects using Timberline and coordinates with project managers.
• Reviews submittals, RFIs, and procurement documents and supports project controls.
• Assists in pre-bid activities, bid-day tabulations, and scheduling analyses.
