Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction estimating, site work and demolition.
• Strong preconstruction and bidding knowledge.
• Proficient in HCSS Heavybid or similar estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team environments.
• Proactive issue anticipation and problem-solving ability.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for site work and demolition projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for alignment with specifications and scope.
• Use estimating software (HCSS Heavybid) to create accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and team during preconstruction.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits and estimate reviews.
• Track and update project costs; adjust estimates as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subs and suppliers.
• Assist in negotiation and awarding of contracts.
