Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs, creating material price lists, and researching labor, material and equipment costs for these take-offs.
• Utilizes Timberline to prepare or assist in preparing Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) for design-build projects.
• Researches historical data and compiles summary reports to develop guidelines for future estimates.
• Receives, reviews and files pricing from project managers against OPCCs.
• Contacts subcontractors and suppliers for current pricing and bidder interest.
• Participates in pre-bid job walks and Bid-Day quote tabulations.
• Supervises and directs project activities as assigned.
• Provides technical, field and site administration support to field and project personnel.
