Job summary

A detail-oriented Estimator is sought by a leading General Contractor serving healthcare, commercial, and industrial sectors, located in Southlake, TX. You will prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on bids, drawings, and specifications, and support project coordination.

Qualifications include 3-5+ years as an estimator with a GC (>$1M projects), strong quantitative, negotiation, and communication skills; PM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience as an Estimator with a General Contractor - Project size ranging $1M+
• Excellent quantitative skills, ability to negotiate, and strong communication skills.
• Qualifications in project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment for projects based on contract bids, quotes, schematic drawings, and specifications.
• Project Coordination: Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts. Manage and coordinate projects, including preparing progress schedules.
• Supplier Management: Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Obtain quotes and negotiate favorable prices.
