We are currently looking to fill the position of Construction Estimator. We seek a highly motivated individual to grow with us and become a leader in their field. As a construction estimator, you will determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects, oversee project schedules, manage bids and submittals from subcontractors and vendors, procure materials, coordinate with inspectors and municipalities on permits, and handle customer relations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communication & Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with Executives and Project Managers on bids, contract documents, schedules, material procurement, change orders, and contract modifications.
- Ensure all subcontract documents are fully executed in coordination with relevant teams.
- Communicate and collaborate with subcontractors during all project phases.
Documents & Applications
- Prepare and estimate project budgets by studying plans and specifications.
- Vet subcontractor pre-qualifications and pre-bid submissions.
- Create bid packages, solicit bids, and develop vendor relationships.
- Analyze and resolve cost differences.
- Compile and issue subcontracts and change orders.
- Maintain fully executed contract documents.
- Develop subcontractor/vendor packages for project handover.
- Track project submittals and obtain material samples for approvals.
Project Assistance
- Review and track subcontracts, work orders, and purchase orders across multiple projects.
- Assist in developing and enhancing project reporting and schedules.
- Support subcontractors with documentation and bidding processes.
- Coordinate with customers and vendors on bidding, contracting, and scheduling.
General Office Duties
- Work with customers, design professionals, building officials, and municipalities.
- Identify potential plan conflicts and resolve them.
- Procure materials from various suppliers.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or minimum 3 years’ experience in construction.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of dimensions, geometry, and math.
- Experience with data entry, blueprints, budget management, and plan take-offs.
- Understanding of residential and commercial construction.
- Strong customer service and multitasking skills.

- Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
- Travel may be required around west Florida
- Location: Tampa, FL
- Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
