Job summary

ESI Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an Estimator with 2 years technical or business degree and estimating experience to submit estimates for bids. Position requires completion of an electrical training program and experience as an electrical estimator.

Responsibilities include providing technical estimation for electrical projects, performing quantity takeoffs, reviewing vendor quotes, and drafting proposal documents. The role may involve site visits and post bid activities.

Responsibilities

• Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software
• Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Review and estimate addenda as required
• Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting.
• Initial review of contract if included in bid documents
• Draft and submit proposal documents
• Follow post bid closeout procedures
• Attend weekly estimating team meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an Estimator with 2 years technical or business degree and estimating experience to submit estimates for bids

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of an electrical training program
• Two years technical or business degree or equivalent combinations of education and estimating experience
• Five years experience as electrical estimator preferable

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
