Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years estimating experience; 5+ years construction preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with estimating software.
• Ability to read drawings and specs; knowledge of Lean construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Prepares material and other costs summaries from vendor quotes.
• Tracks value creation items from development through inclusion in documentation.
• Develops and manages scopes of work for all trades and coordinates bids.
• Utilizes project schedule and logistics in estimates; coordinates with team.
• Mentors others and collaborates with operations for economical construction methods.
