Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience supporting residential and/or commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and estimating software tools.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, plans, and project documentation to understand scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and components.
• Prepare accurate cost projections including labor, materials, and subcontractor work.
• Solicit and review proposals from trade partners and suppliers.
• Assemble estimate packages and client proposal documents.
• Identify project requirements and potential cost considerations.
• Coordinate with management, clients, and subcontractors during pre-construction.
• Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records.
• Occasionally visit potential project sites to support evaluation.
