Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with construction-related software tools.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, plans, and project documentation to understand project scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and construction components.
• Prepare accurate cost projections including labor, materials, and subcontractor work.
• Solicit and review proposals from trade partners and suppliers.
• Assemble comprehensive estimate packages and client proposal documents.
• Identify project requirements and potential cost considerations.
• Work closely with management, clients, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records.
• Occasionally visit potential project sites to support project evaluation.
