Job summary

You will oversee shop processes, manage budgets, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and compliance. The role emphasizes strong leadership, proven supervision, and the ability to keep repair work moving, coordinate parts, and deliver timely billing.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with basic computer skills.
• Prior experience as a mechanic with construction equipment is necessary.
• An established track record of service supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service department personnel and provide coaching.
• Organize, prioritize, schedule and assign work to service personnel.
• Drive timely completion of customer repairs by coordinating parts and resolving bottlenecks.
• Ensure work orders are closed out and customers are invoiced promptly.
• Mentor apprentice technicians and support journeymen.
• Maintain the highest standards in safety practices and policies.
