Job summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders, based in Lake Charles, LA, seeks an Equipment Administrative Assistant to support the Equipment team and ensure efficient office operations on the Calcasieu River Bridge project.

Position requires 2+ years of admin experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to liaise with field personnel and subcontractors. Bilingual skills are a plus; relocation assistance may be offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of administrative experience.
• Experience with construction, engineering, or related project-based environment is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must have a current and valid driver5s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, organizing files, and maintaining project documentation.
• Serve as a communication liaison between office staff, field personnel, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow.
• Assist with preparing presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and project binders for internal and external meetings.
• Perform general office duties including ordering supplies, managing mail, maintaining office equipment, and supporting onboarding of project personnel.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
