Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and working toward a bachelor’s degree.
• 0–2 years in construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design/drawings for takeoff and workforce for bidding and building construction projects.
• Prepare and distribute documentation such as status reports, punch lists and material calculations.
• Provide technical support regarding project materials, delivery dates and schedules.
• Assist with change orders and estimates by preparing drawings and sketches.
• Develop data including quantity take-offs and material pricing for estimates and bids.
• Maintain records of quantities and materials installed for cost controls.
