Job summary

DGL Consulting Engineers, LLC is seeking a Construction Engineer to coordinate construction management, administration and inspection services in our multi-disciplinary firm.

Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, this full-time, non-exempt role requires 3–5 years of relevant construction engineering experience and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include supervision, project inspections, budget oversight and coordination with inspectors and surveyors.

Qualifications

3-5 years of construction engineering experience.
Experience coordinating construction management, administration and inspection.
Valid driver's license with favorable record.

Responsibilities

Serve as Resident Engineer and/or Project Inspector on construction projects.
Oversee daily inspection of contractor work and record activities.
Review/approve shop drawings and contractor pay requests.
Coordinate with engineers and surveyors and provide survey support.
Support civil design and drafting for bridges, site, roadways, and traffic.
