Job summary
GCON Management Company LLC is seeking a Construction Engineer to support the project engineer, project manager and field team with contract documentation, cost control and construction supervision. This role involves working with CMiC, closeout processes, RFI/submittal workflows, and subcontractor coordination to meet safety, schedule and quality targets.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, plus proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to learn and adapt to technology platforms.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document control process and maintenance of current contract documents.
- Utilize project closeout checklist to assemble project closeout documents as they are generated.
- Input Potential Change Orders (PCO) and Issues in CMiC, accurately.
- Assist in monthly GC/GR forecasting and management.
- Understand RFI and submittal processes and impact to risk mitigation.
- Help develop subcontract labor projections for field to support Superintendent needs.
