Job summary

Blythe Construction is hiring an entry-level Construction Engineer to support field operations and project controls on heavy highway civil and site development projects. The role reports to the Project Engineer on site and involves cost reporting, scheduling, and coordination with field staff.

The position requires proficiency with Excel and SAP, experience with P6 scheduling, and strong communication skills to ensure alignment with project goals and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficient in Excel, P6 Scheduling, Bluebeam, Planswift, AGTEK, and SAP.
• Familiarity with construction industry practices is required.
• Must communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Produce labor and equipment cost reports to monitor production costs and drive billing and budgets.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly quantities and reconcile owner quantities using Excel and SAP.
• Assist in updating project schedules in P6.
• Prepare and monitor CPM schedules for projects using P6.
