Job summary

Metric Geo in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to keep heavy civil site operations running smoothly. This hands-on role coordinates trucks, equipment and crews to support site development activities such as excavation, grading, utilities and hauling.

You'll work with Superintendents, Foremen and Project Managers to track locations and production, adjust priorities in a fast-paced construction environment, and ensure the right resources are in the right place at the right

DISPATCHER – HEAVY CIVIL / SITE DEVELOPMENT

Northern Virginia | Full-Time

I’m working with a well-established, family-owned site development contractor in Northern Virginia that is looking to add an experienced Dispatcher to the team.

This is a hands-on role supporting active construction operations across site development, excavation, grading, utilities, hauling and material movement.

You’ll be responsible for keeping trucks, equipment and field operations moving efficiently and making sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time.

What you'll be doing:

• Dispatching and coordinating dump trucks, equipment and drivers
• Scheduling trucks for dirt, aggregate and material hauling
• Coordinating with Superintendents, Foremen and Project Managers
• Tracking truck/equipment locations and production throughout the day

What we're looking for:

• Previous dispatch experience within construction, trucking, excavation, site development or heavy civil
